antapex

The point on the celestial sphere in the diametrically opposite direction to the solar apex. The whole solar system is moving directly towards the apex and away from the antapex relative to stars in the Sun's vicinity. The antapex lies in the constellation Columba (at about RA 6h, Dec. -30°).
